Overview/Description

Visio allows you to analyze data in a diagram by inserting and formatting charts and PivotTables. Learners will discover how to create different types of reports for stronger and more complete analysis of their data, in this 7-video course, recorded in a Visio Online Plan 2 environment. Charts, for instance, reinforce the visual representation of one's data; observe how to insert simple charts into Visio and then modify the information by using the associated Excel style spreadsheet. Learners will then watch practical demonstrations of inserting an Excel chart, and observe how to edit the different information to correspond with the data that the chart should represent. The course continues by exploring how to export a diagram to a Word file, after choosing the elements needed in your document by modifying the different settings. Key topics covered in this course include how to use Shape Properties; Snippet Transparency settings; Apply Shape tools; and Pivot Diagrams.
