Overview/Description

In this 8-video course, learners can explore the basics of Microsoft Word, the word processing program in Word for Office 365. If you have no experience with Word, this is the perfect course to choose when you begin using the program. First, learn how to open the application on your desktop from the Windows 10 Search bar, Start menu, and task bar. You will explore many of the tools and functions available in Word, and learn how to access the Ribbon, how to use the file backstage view, the Quick Access toolbar, and the Status bar. You will learn how to navigate in a word document by using the scroll bar, and other navigation shortcuts. Next, you will learn to use the View Mode, which will display a document in several ways, and has views that focus on reading text, a web view, and views for planning and drafting. Finally, this course examines how to use the Navigation pane to move through a document, jump to specific headings or pages, and to search for keywords.
