Overview/Description
Beryllium is used in multiple working environments, but exposure to beryllium can be a serious threat. It is a known carcinogen and exposure to it can cause serious pulmonary diseases. Working safely in the presence of beryllium requires an awareness of the risks it presents. In this course, you'll learn about the sources and routes of exposure, adverse health hazards, exposure controls, and medical surveillance to protect yourself.
