It describes the various categories of biohazardous waste and how infection can be transmitted by biohazardous waste. It also outlines standard safety precautions against transmission, and guidelines for the safe storage, treatment, and disposal of biohazardous waste. It also describes the steps for cleaning up a biohazardous spillage.
