Overview/Description

The Department of Transportation (DOT) governs all modes of transportation in the US, including air transportation. The DOT provides regulations pertaining to the shipment of hazardous materials known as the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR). This course will introduce the DOT requirements when shipping by air, including the placarding requirements, and explore the variations and limitations that apply.
