Overview/Description

This 10-video course explores several of the new features in PowerShell 5.1 utility, a command-line shell and scripting utility that comes standard in Windows Server 2019. You will begin with an overview of PowerShell 5.1, and its use to do bulk configuration. You will then learn how to use several basic commands to perform basic administrative tasks in Windows Server 2019. Next, learners observe how to install the DNS role and management tools in a single command onto a server by using PowerShell. This course demonstrates how to create a primary forward look-up zone, and add an A or address record by using PowerShell. You will learn how to install and configure the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) network management protocol use PowerShell, and how to set up a scope and configure several properties. You will learn to install and configure the Active Directory domain services as new domain controller for an existing domain. Finally, this course examines how to perform some basic user management by using PowerShell.
