Overview/Description

This Compliance Brief course covers two bills passed in December 2022 that are important updates to legal protections for U.S. employees: the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections, or PUMP Act, and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, or PWFA. This course gives a short overview of legal protections now offered to pregnant, postpartum, and lactating employees by these new laws.

This course was subject to additional review due to Executive Orders (EO) and memoranda issued by the current Presidential Administration. The content of this course has been reviewed by subject matter experts and was deemed to adequately address the relevant EO requirements at the time of last review. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure this course meets their specific training requirements.
