Complying with Title IX is critical for every institution of higher education that receives federal funding as institutions strive to foster a safe and supportive environment for all students. Title IX protects people from discrimination based on sex, and requires educational institutions to take steps to prevent sexual harassment and sexual misconduct. This course examines the various circumstances that can contribute to incidences of sexual assault or misconduct and helps identify ways to ensure a safe and inclusive environment on campus.
