One part of effective workplace violence prevention is to become familiar with common warning signs people might display before lashing out in a violent act. Personal indicators such as personality and behavior changes can signal a potential for increased risk. Staying alert, becoming familiar with your organization’s violence prevention policies, and reporting concerning behaviors or threats can help maintain a safe workplace.
