Overview/Description

Money laundering lets criminal organisations hide the real source of illegally obtained money. Terrorism financing involves the collection or provision of funds with the intention of supporting terrorist activities or organisations. Businesses and their employees need to take reasonable steps to ensure they don't facilitate these processes, and to comply with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) legislation. In this course, you'll learn what money laundering and terrorism financing involves and why it's important to comply with your organisation's AML/CTF program. You'll also learn how to meet customer due diligence requirements and how to identify and report suspicious activities that could indicate money laundering or terrorism financing.
