As a manager, you play a key role in ensuring your organisation meets its legal and ethical responsibilities to avoid and prevent discrimination in the workplace and provide all job applicants and employees with equal access to employment opportunities. This course will help you recognise the forms that discrimination can take in the workplace. You'll learn why it's in your and your organisation's best interest to avoid discrimination. You'll be introduced to the main anti-discrimination laws that you're required to uphold in your organisation and the potential consequences of violating these laws. You'll also learn principles you can apply to help you avoid discriminatory behaviour in your own actions and decisions, promote a workplace culture that's free of discrimination and respond appropriately to complaints of discrimination in your organisation.
