Overview/Description

In the United Kingdom, the Criminal Finances Act 2017 places greater responsibilities on companies and partnerships (broadly, ‘relevant bodies’) to ensure none of their employees or 'associated persons' commit or facilitate any acts of tax evasion either in the UK or overseas. It is the responsibility of all employees and other ‘associated persons’ to ensure they follow the relevant body’s policies and procedures for preventing the facilitation of tax evasion. In this course, you'll learn specifically about the acts that may be considered tax evasion for the purposes of this law. You'll also learn about your role in monitoring for signs of tax evasion and your responsibilities to report these signs to your company.
