Overview/Description
Windows 8.1 includes a number of new technologies relating to deployment including Windows To Go and the ability to natively boot from a virtual hard disk file. Windows 8.1 also includes new technologies for managing applications, such as Client Hyper-V, and a plethora of new group policy settings for IE 11. This course covers installation and migration strategies for Windows 8.1, and also covers application installation, management, and compatibility management for Windows 8.1 systems. This course is one of a series which cover the objectives for Microsoft Exam 70-688: Supporting Windows 8.1. This exam is a requirement for the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 8 certification.
