Overview/Description
Oracle Secure Backup or OSB is centralized tape-management software that allows you to backup and restore data using a variety of machine architectures. This course covers how OSB complements the Oracle backup and recovery options, as well as terminology, interface options, and backup management features. Additionally, it explores how to decide on the structure of your administrative domain, perform preinstallation tasks, and install OSB on Linux. Installing OSB on Windows, locating OSB installed files, verifying your installation, and removing OSB are also covered.
