Overview/Description

Workplace violence incidents, while not common, do happen. While it's not always known why these incidents occur, their impact across an organization can have sweeping repercussions. No organization can fully prevent workplace violence, but there are things that can be done to help.

This course was subject to additional review due to Executive Orders (EO) and memoranda issued by the current Presidential Administration. The content of this course has been reviewed by subject matter experts and was deemed to adequately address the relevant EO requirements at the time of last review. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure this course meets their specific training requirements. Customers should consult with their legal counsel to verify compliance with specific requirements applicable to the customer’s organization.

During this course, you will learn about the workplace violence plan all organizations are required to create and have on hand at all times. You will learn about the violent incident log that is kept in the event of an incident and its overall purpose, the types of workplace violence hazards, and how to seek assistance and report a workplace violence event.
