Overview/Description

Scissor lifts are powered, mobile devices that raise personnel vertically to allow them to safely reach a predetermined working height. But, as with any heavy equipment, scissor lifts can be very dangerous if used without due care and attention. This course will teach you how to inspect your lift and the work area, understand the physical hazards involved in working with a scissor lift, and what the standard safety features of a scissor lift are. You'll also learn about the basic training requirements and some general best practices for operating scissors lifts.
