Overview/Description

All workers, at any level, in an organization deserve to work under safe conditions. Physical safety measures cover things such as safe work and using controls to make jobs safer. But psychological safety is just as important. A psychologically safe workplace is one where workers are encouraged and mistakes are rectified without attributing blame to an individual. When both sides of the safety coin are met, overall safety culture in the workplace improves and workers are more willing to work for and with others rather than trying to see what is best for the individual only.
