Microsoft Windows Server 2012 is the newest version of Microsoft Windows Server and builds upon features found in previous versions of Windows Server, as well as providing a number of new features. This course examines how hard disks function, and how partitioning is used in Windows Server 2012. This course also examines Basic and Dynamic disks, and different types of volumes, including virtual hard disks. Finally, this course looks at storage management and how to create and use storage pools with both PowerShell and the GUI. It is one of a series designed to prepare the learner for exam 70-410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012. Please note this course is based on the original Windows Server 2012 release.
