Overview/Description
Provisioning is an area where clouds distinguish themselves from standard data center IT. Clouds are provisioned as a unit, and this holistic approach feeds into other areas of configuration and manageability. This course covers private cloud provisioning and configuration with System Center Cloud Services Process Pack. You'll also learn about configuring data backup and recovery with System Center 2012 R2 Data Protection Manager. This course is one of a series of courses that prepares the learner for Microsoft exam 70-246: Monitoring and Operating a Private Cloud. This exam is part of the MCSE: Private Cloud certification track.
Target Audience
This path is targeted toward Windows Server private cloud administrators using System Center for server and cloud management. Candidates for the exam should have experience with Windows Server security, high-availability, networking and fault tolerance in an enterprise environment. Candidates should also be familiar with SQL Server, PowerShell and application configuration.
